Welcome to my Southern California Brit Milah website. If you’re here, it’s time to plan your son’s bris. I’m Dr. Paul Horowitz, a pediatrician based in Valencia, CA. In addition to performing circumcisions in both the hospital and my office, I am a certified mohel specializing in ceremonial brit milah. Brit Mila has its origins in biblical times. Today, modern techniques ensure its safety. The ceremony, which can include your rabbi, though this isn't a requirement, can be tailored to suit the needs of your family while maintaining its significance for all attendees.

Whether in your home, the hospital or my office, lidocaine is used to ensure your son is as comfortable as possible. As a pediatrician, I prioritize your his health, comfort, and well-being above all else.

Dr. Paul Horowitz, a seasoned pediatrician and former Chief Resident at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, has been caring for children for nearly 30 years. His unique private practice, Discovery Pediatrics, is in Valencia, CA, where he practices with his pediatrician wife, Dr. Daphne Horowitz. As a certified mohel, Dr. Paul combines his medical skills with spiritual guidance to honor families during the bris ceremony.
